This idea was designed with close collaboration of Nippon Glass Co. and NEC electronics experts with further development underway.

The city of Nagasaki will receive this monument in 2002

During the day the blinds installed in the window's frames are translucent so the landscape is fully visible through the window. During the night the blinds switch their UMU Glass panels to the opaque form and powerful projectors send the daylight images of the same landscape to the screen formed by the UMU blinds...
